A funeral bulletin with a single red rose.

Also known as a Celebration of Life Ceremony. I feel a deep responsibility whilst working with a family during this time. I have worked in the caring profession for years and have developed an ability to provide support and guidance by listening and by offering direction.

The nature of this Ceremony is to celebrate the life of the deceased by reflecting on their values, beliefs and traditions. This is a highly personal time and I trust in myself to hear and deliver the wishes of the people closest to that person and to meet the expectation of those who come to the funeral.

I believe the bereaved appreciate an element of continuity in the weeks after the ceremony and so I like to support people close to the deceased by marking other occasions with monthly/annual memorial celebrations. After all, it’s the memories that we treasure once our loved ones have passed.
